My DD is now nearly 9 months old and has formula during the day (she has boob first thing and last thing). My question is, do I still need to boil the water for her bottles? A friend said as Sydney water is safe for drinking, we don't need to and she's not boiling it any more. I'm not sterilising her bottles, just washing in hot, soapy water so I'm wondering if it's ok to not boil her drinking water too? Thanks in advance.
Hi i allways boil babys water im sure it will be fine when bubs older but with their weak immune systems u woulnt want them to get sick as tap water may contain paracites chloreen and other chemicals to keep it clean.. and thinking of the tanks they store them in mmm grose lol :P hot soapy water is fine for cleaning but personally boiled water is best for bub :)
